Wir haben tolle Neuigkeiten: Die Anmeldung zum Sommercamp ist eröffnet!
Ab sofort bis zum 07.07.2025 könnt ihr euch über unser Anmeldeformular anmelden. Anmelden können sich alle zwischen 16 und 27 Jahre – ganz egal ob bereits Amnesty Mitglied oder nicht. Die Teilnahme beim Sommercamp ist kostenlos. Dies beinhaltet auch Übernachtungs-, Verpflegungs- und Reisekosten.
Das Sommercamp findet dieses Jahr vom 07.August bis zum 11.August 2025 in der Nähe Berlin im ländlichen Raum statt. Es erwarten euch spannende Workshops, ein umfangreiches Freizeitangebot und die Möglichkeit zur Vernetzung mit vielen jungen Aktivisti. Weiter unten findet ihr die Teilnahmebedingungen.
Unser Thema in diesem Jahr: Heimat(en) – Wo sind Menschenrechte zuhause?
Was ist Heimat? Ein Ort, eine Gemeinschaft, ein Gefühl – ein Konstrukt? Oder eine rechte Fantasie? Dürfen wir als Menschenrechtsaktivist:innen über Heimat(en) sprechen? Wem steht Heimat zu, wer hat die Deutungshoheit inne?
Wir wollen Heimat(en) als einen solidarischen und inklusiven Raum neu denken: Was sagt meine Heimat über mich aus? Was sag ich über meine Heimat aus? Welche Rolle spielen ökonomische oder soziale Fragen? Und (wie) passen unsere Identitäten in eine Heimat?
Mit einem Blick auf intersektionale Identitätsmerkmale beschäftigen wir uns im AMNESTY-JUGEND SOMMERCAMP 2025 mit der Frage, wie wir unsere Heimat(en?) an Menschenrechten ausgerichtet neu definieren können!
Jugend@Amnesty 2025
Auch in diesem Jahr wird die Versammlung der Amnesty-Jugend – die Jugend@Amnesty – im Rahmen des Sommercamps hybrid stattfinden. Dort wird u.a. über Anträge abgestimmt und die neue Jugendvertretung gewählt! Die Einladung zur Jugend@ folgt am 11.06.2025. Alle Teilnehmenden des Sommercamps können automatisch auch an der Jugend@ teilnehmen, wenn sie Amnesty Mitglied sind. Mehr Informationen zur Jugend@ findet ihr hier.

Great news: Registration for the summer camp is has opened!
You can now register through our registration form until July 7, 2025. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 27 can sign up, regardless of whether they are already a member of Amnesty or not. Taking part in the summer camp is free. This also includes accommodation, food, and travel expenses.

The summer camp will take place from August 7th to August 11th, 2025, in a rural area near Berlin. Exciting workshops, a wide range of leisure activities, and the opportunity to network with many young activists await you. Please find the General Terms and Conditions of Participation below.
Our theme this year: Heimat(en)*– Where do human rights feel at home?
What is Heimat? A place, a community, a feeling – or a social construct? Or is it a nationalist fantasy? Can we, as human rights activists, even talk about “Heimat(en)”? Who gets to call a place home, and who controls its meaning?
We want to rethink Heimat(en) as a space of solidarity and inclusion:
What does my home say about me? What do I say about my home?
What role do economic or social issues play? And how (or whether) do our identities fit into the idea of a homeland?
*”Heimat” is a German word that refers to a sense of home or belonging, but it goes beyond just a physical place.
It describes the emotional connection one feels to a place, community, culture, or language — where you feel safe, understood, and rooted.
A person can have more than one “Heimat” (plural: Heimaten), especially in a globalized world, such as their country of origin and a place they have grown to call home over time.
The term is instrumentalized by the (german) right to claim exclusive ownership of Germany. They also do not believe in the possibility and right of having multiple homes and origins. We strongly oppose that narrative and aim to reclaim and reframe the term Heimat(en).
Jugend@ Amnesty 2025
This year, the Jugend@Amnesty assembly, which is part of the Summer Camp, will also be held in a hybrid format. There, among other things, motions will be voted on and the new Youth Representative Committee will be elected! The invitation to the Jugend@ will follow on 11.06.2025. All participants of the summer camp can also automatically participate in the Jugend@ as long as they are a member of Amnesty. You can find more information about Jugend@ here.
